tiff da muthafuckin gift!

I've been gone for a minute but i'm totally ready to give my few readers some more fun and some more laughs. I kind of had my spirits down because I lost someone that honestly meant alot to me! I'm not much for relationships because I must admit I am very selfish and demanding. I always tried to tell myself if any guy could handle that then I know it's right. This one couldn't nor could he love me half as much as I loved him so I guess that's life right?!? I mean many people who don't REALLY know me would think I don't care about anyone but myself but I do! I thought I learned my lesson the first time I fell in love. G! I was wrong! I'm definitely not going to sit here and weep but love is pain and we all go through it. I took alittle break from my normal routine to pull it together and now i'm back on my grind and back to being a TOTAL FUCKING BITCH..

Anywho last week I went to Mansion to shake my ass for a bit and release some stress..

Here's a short glimpse:

ciao.

IRON MAN

Last night karla (my sister) and I met up in the city to have some diner and drinks. We had diner @ one of our fav spots down town. Yuca Bar ( 7th and ave A) we love love love this spot. The food is amazing. After diner we went to the movies to see IRON MAN. When i first saw the trailer to this movie i wasn't to interested. I didn't think Robert Downey Jr. was a great match to be Iron Man. I'm not a big comic book person but growing up with only boy cousin's and not too many girl friends in school i didn't have a choice but to seat around listening to the guys read comic books. I got to learn many characters and super hero's because of this. Now, about the movie, i deff recommend you see it if you haven't yet. To my surprise Downey Jr. played the part really good. IF U HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE STOP READING....
My mild complaint about the movie is about the hole that Tony Stark has in his chest. I assumed the piece was stuck on the outside of his chest to pull the shrapnel away from his heart. Later, however, we see that Stark has a somewhat deep hole in his chest. WTF??? When did that happen? Also, you would think that if anyone was capable of making a large hole in his chest without interfering with his lungs and other vital organs, maybe they would be able to actually remove the pieces of shrapnel which pose such a danger to his heart? But then again its only fiction, anything goes.

TAKE SOME SHOTS

Literally... hahaha... Its Cinco DE Mayo and yes i am Mexican so today i actually have a decent excuse on why I'm drinking. For those of you NOT doing shit on a Monday night ( but reading this lovely blog ) , tonight’s the night to celebrate Mexican history in the form of tequila and tacos. For those weak drinks, here’s a interesting way to get 200ml more of that liquor. Talk about taking shots! It retails for $60 so Patron better be the tequila of choice in that gun’s barrel. Tequila is no joke so if ur a baby please do not drink. I only drink Patron when it comes to tequila. Iv learned my lesson the hard way drinking cut throat shit, i honestly thought i was gonna die one night from drinking so much Cuervo.. after the third shot that shit was tasting like water. 7am comes along im at a diner with 3 friends and i have one shoe on... we are all so fucked up i remember saying lets go to the beach and find my other shoe. we ended up going to the beach. Unfortunately my shoe was lost forever and i had a hang over for a week.

P.S.
I would suggest u go to this cute little Mexican spot in les BUT I'm not.. BITCH ASS waitress wanted to get smacked the other night. Anyway I'm sure you know some nice spot to get fucked up and get some nice ass tonight

My papa finally brought home all of the boxes from our storage unit in Park Slope. I figured since I had the day off I should go through them and dispose what I no longer wanted. I also needed desperately to clean my room. Here is the end result of a long fucking day. Now I know why moms go on STRIKE!

This lil cutie is my little brother Angel. Name suits him well!

In the process of me cleaning I came across a box of photos.. I love every minute of being a kid and I still do!

My friend Shyvonne was hosting a charitable event at The Delancey and she wanted me to model but unfortunately I couldn't get out of work. Last minute numbers in the restaurant dropped and a coworker wanted to switch shifts with me. So I became off. I figured since I couldn't participate in the show that I would at least go and donate. That same night ended up being Joey's birthday and he was hosting a party at Hotel QT. Birthdays to me are the best HOLIDAYS and yes I did say HOLIDAY so I had to stop by and show him some love! Later that night a friend of a friend Mr. Mauricio was in town spinning at Pink Elephant so me and the gang went to hang.. JEEZ that sounds so corny, lol.

"NO PICTURES MAM"..

The MET
This was an exhibit right next to the shark. I wasn't able to get the name of the artist but I found this piece to be soooo cool. It is double the size than in the picture and bounced sounds waves off like you wouldn't believe. It also made your image look closer or farther than it was. It almost looks like a gigantic glass dish. I bet i'm not doing a good job of describing the piece to you and I do apologize but it's Prtty sick! You should check it out!

As we were leaving the MET we stumbled upon this hott steamy shyt ,literally! SO HOTT and STEAMY that I had to get a picture while it was still moist. HA! UPPER EAST SIDE douchebags is what I like to refer to them as. Act like they are GOD and above the law because they have some coin but can't even clean up their own dogs SHYT!
On a lighter note it was a beautiful day! :-)
This fall, the Metropolitan Museum of Art will present one of the most arresting works of art by the British artist Damien Hirst: "The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living." Originally created in 1991, the piece consists of a preserved shark in a tank of formaldehyde. But the shark that will appear at the Met is the second version of this work: The first began to decompose within the tank. Mr. Hirst then recreated the work with a second shark, a 13-foot tiger shark preserved professionally for the future. Can a work be so easily reproduced? And if so, what happens to its value? Honestly I don't know and don't care! Either way Mr. Hirst has talent and the exhibit is worth every second of your time!

I don't think anyone needs an introduction to Takashi Murakami. He designed Kanye West graduation album cover, half of Louis .Vuitton's hottest patterns and creates sick Japanese animations. The internationally acclaimed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami includes more than ninety works in various media that span the artist’s entire career, installed in more than 18,500 square feet of gallery space.

Manolo and I have been saying that we were going to go see the Murakami exhibit at The Brooklyn Museum and the Frozen Shark exhibit by Damien Hirst at the MET but never had corresponding days off. Finally last week we did and it was such an adventure. In both museums we had to pay but at the Met we got there so late that the paying booth was closed(Good thing because I was NOT trying to pay 20 cash )so we just walked in. There were security guards on the PROWL! If they even felt me touching my camera or let alone reaching in my pocket they were yelling" NO PICTURES MAM"! At about the fifth time I started to get annoyed, saying to myself if I fucking paid to see this shyt I will get some dayum PICTURES!

AND I DID!
ciao.
